Glow in the Angel raises hundreds for charity
Islington Giving's winter appeal has once again been given a boost with generous donations from Glow in the Angel visitors.
Glow, now in its second year, and funded by the BID on behalf of its member businesses, this year raised more than £400 for the neighbourhood charity.
Visitors to Glow's exciting arts and crafts events were invited to donate, and also snap up some of the charity Angel Crackers created by the BID especially for Islington Giving's winter campaign. Crackers are still available so stock up at: Wheat, Islington Square shopping centre Bewliehill, 116D Upper Street David Astburys, 315 Upper Street Islington Giving's offices, 13 Elliott's Place Business Design Centre, Upper Street Loom Club, 6 Northampton Street Glow also featured music, dance and theatre performances, Santa's Grotto courtesy of David Astburys estate agents, and special visits from the Mayor of Islington, and cast of King's Head Theatre's panto Cinderella.
