Respect, remembrance and revelry at Islington Armed Forces Day

The Angel community joined members of the Armed Forces and other Service organisations to mark this year's Armed Forces Day.

Islington Veterans' Association encouraged people to bring a picnic and meet veterans, cadets - and the odd Pearly King. Islington Mayor, Councillor Anjna Khurana also attended the Service and Parade.

Angel Islington BID supplied teas and coffees from Vent for event organisers and guests, and Gerry, the BID's Business Crime Officer was also in attendance.

The BID would like to thank Waitrose which provided flowers, Bellanger for pastries and toilet faciliites, and Tesco for pastries/donuts and water.
