Saturday's 'Glow in the Angelwill now take place at Angel Central Shopping Centre and NOT on Islington Green. The predicted bad weather and high winds means we want to make sure the fun continues while keeping the event safe for all.

There's no change in the programme - with all the music, food, craft workshops and the arrival of Santa Claus still taking place from 1pm to 6pm on Saturday, November 23, all on the first floor of Angel Central. Performances will include: 1.30pm Festive music from the Brass trio 2.30pm William Tyndale School performing arts academy 3pm Meet stars from Tall Stories' Room on the Broom 3.30pm William Tyndale School performing arts academy 4.15pm Meet characters from Little Angel Theatre's Scruff’s Christmas Adventure 4.30pm Boo and cheer for King's Head Theatre's Cinderella panto cast 5pm Music from Mrs H and the Sing-along Band

Throughout the afternoon there will be free crafting fun including gingerbread decorating, creating Santa spoon puppets, and making advent calendars.

Little ones can settle down for storytime or get faces painted, and all are welcome to pop along to Lucky Voice's Christmas karaoke booth to belt out some Christmas favourites.

Santa Claus will also be waiting to check your Christmas lists, courtesy of David Astburys estate agents, and the Mayor of Islington will also be stopping by to bring festive cheer. Plus, get some fun selfies with the 'Singing Crackers', which will be roaming the centre.

And don't forget to stock up on your charity Angel Crackers, with all proceeds to Islington Giving.

All activities are free to enjoy, with donations invited for local good causes.
