An outdoor gallery celebrating some of the unique characters who have lived, worked and visited one of Angel’s most famous thoroughfares has launched today.

The 'People of Camden Passage' exhibition showcases 14 bold portraits, just some of the hundreds taken around Camden Passage over the years by award-winning local photographer Gary Williams, who has lived in the area for some 15 years.

The showcase ties in with the imminent release of Gary’s new photo book, ‘The Little Book of Camden Passage’, which gathers more of these vibrant images to enjoy, such as the one featured here of visitors Benjamin and Porthos.

The display, which runs along the covered walkway by NatWest between Angel tube station and the approach to Camden Passage, is expected to remain until September. It has been staged by Angel Islington Business Improvement District, with the support of NatWest.
