Reader Reviews - Camden Passage
“Ok, my favourite spots in Angel - there’s quite a few so I’ll start with Camden Passage, my weekend haven. Strolling down the little cobbled street on a lazy Saturday or Sunday morning is gorgeous. It’s a little treasure trove with jewellery, art and antique gems waiting to be discovered. Whenever I’m there, which is most weekends, I can’t resist a buns from home or a Sri Lankan snack from TRAMPOLINE café. I love supporting TRAMPOLINE as they help London’s refugee community - it’s always nice to choose to shop in places that give back.
Then there’s the less whimsical but very practical side of Angel. Before I head to Sainsbury's for my shop, I always take a mandatory detour to Flying Tiger and H&M. Who can resist a browse? I often accidentally buy a new top or an unnecessary but cute trinket (oops).
When it comes to food, I’m truly spoiled for choice. My faves are a Delhi Grill lunch from their Chapel Market stall or a dinner at Afghan Kitchen. And if I’ve had too many wines at dinner then I’m only a short walk away from The Lexington to dance the night away til 4am (which happens more often than not).
And now to my final favourite spot. When I’m working from home, I love a run or stroll along Regent's Canal. It’s so nice to live somewhere in London with a bit of nature so close by.
